Ceplin Terminal Beta Licence Version 1.0, for Ceplin Terminal 0.61 beta Copyright (c) 2026 Ceplin Systems. All rights reserved. This licence is an agreement between you and Ceplin Systems ("we") about the Ceplin Terminal software: the ceplin program for Linux, macOS and Windows, and the web workspace it contains (the "Software"). By downloading, installing or using the Software you accept this licence. If you do not accept it, do not use the Software. 1. What you may do We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, install and use the Software, for yourself and at work, including in your organisation's security operations, on as many devices as you like. You may make copies for that use, share them within your own organisation, and run the web workspace for people in your own organisation. 2. What you may not do You may not sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software, publish it, or distribute it outside your own organisation; point others to https://ceplang.org/download/ instead. You may not offer the Software to anyone outside your organisation as a hosted service. You may not modify, decompile or reverse engineer it, except as far as the law allows despite this restriction. You may not remove or change its copyright and licence notices. 3. Other projects' software and data The Software includes components and data from other projects, listed with their licences in NOTICE. Those parts are licensed to you under their own licences, and nothing in this licence limits the rights those licences give you. 4. Your keys and your lookups The Software sends the values you look up to the providers you configure, with your own API keys. You are responsible for the data you send, for following those providers' terms, and for how you use what they return. 5. Beta This is a pre-release. It may contain errors, change without notice, or stop working. We may end this beta, or replace this licence with the licence of a later version. 6. No warranty The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Its results come from third-party sources and may be wrong or incomplete: check them before you act on them. 7. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from the Software or this licence. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software, which is nothing. Where the law does not allow these limits, they apply as far as it does. 8. Ending This licence ends automatically if you break it. When it ends, stop using the Software and delete your copies. Sections 3, 6 and 7 continue after it ends. 9. Export You must follow the export control and sanctions laws that apply to you. Questions: https://ceplin.com/
